DISKO Labs — free for now

Meet DISKO Tracks.

Point it at the folder where your music lives. It listens to every song — genre, BPM, key — then pulls tracks apart into stems, turns stems into MIDI, writes out the lyrics, and packs the whole thing for release. All of it on your Mac.

Real session, real speed — import, tag, split

What it does

Folder in. Discography out.

Four stages, in the order your music actually moves through them.

Listen

It tags the music, not the filename

Drop in a folder and DISKO Tracks listens to the audio itself — a zero-shot model calls the genre and style tags from the sound, not from a database lookup. So the untitled bounce from 2019 gets a real genre, a BPM, and a key, even though no site on earth has ever heard of it.

Genre + style tags detected from the audio, not metadata

BPM and time signature

Musical key with Camelot wheel notation, for harmonic mixing

Works on demos and bounces that exist nowhere else

Organize

A library, not a pile

A sortable, editable table of everything — track number, title, album, genre, styles, BPM, key. Search it, filter by genre, group by album, select fifty tracks and retag them in one move. A full ID3 editor with cover-art embedding, and a vinyl-style player that answers your Mac’s media keys.

Bulk multi-select editing across the whole library

Vinyl-style player with album art and media-key support

Full ID3 editing — title through ISRC — plus cover art

Acoustic-fingerprint duplicates: best quality wins, nothing is ever deleted

Pull apart

Every song is secretly six

Split any track into stems — vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other — running on your Apple silicon GPU. Preview each stem inline, download one or all. Then turn the melodic stems into MIDI, one file per instrument plus a combined multitrack, and let it write out the lyrics while it’s at it.

Six-stem separation (Demucs), GPU-accelerated

Stems to MIDI — per-instrument .mid files plus a combined multitrack

Lyric transcription (Whisper), time-synced to the track

Everything previews in place — no exporting just to hear it

Ship

From bounce folder to release day

A loudness scan tells you how each track sits against the ~-14 LUFS streaming target, with one-click master presets and a 30-second preview before you commit. The Releases view auto-groups your singles, EPs, and albums, fills every DistroKid field with per-field copy buttons, and writes a complete release package on organize.

Loudness QA + master presets with instant preview

Auto-grouped singles, EPs, and albums with CSV export

Every DistroKid field, ready to copy — or take the whole package

A band profile that exports as a press-kit text block

Local-first

Runs on your Mac. Stays on your Mac.

Your demos are yours. Nothing about your library — not the audio, not the titles, not the fact that you have four albums of unreleased ambient — ever leaves the machine.

Fully offline

One model download on first launch, then everything — tagging, stems, MIDI, lyrics — runs with the Wi-Fi off.

No telemetry

No analytics, no phone-home, no account. The app doesn’t know who you are and doesn’t want to.

Originals untouched

Organize copies by default, duplicates are excluded rather than deleted, and stems and MIDI live in their own folder.
