DISKO uses certain libraries licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), including FFmpeg, libmpv, and libvips. These libraries are used as separate executable processes or dynamically-linked shared libraries, in accordance with the terms of the LGPL.
In compliance with the LGPL, the complete corresponding source code for these components is available at the project links listed above. Alternatively, you may request a copy of the source code by writing to:
This offer is valid for a period of three years from the date of each DISKO release that includes these components, and is available to anyone in possession of the software, in accordance with LGPL Section 6.
Additional Dependencies
DISKO also includes over 400 additional npm packages as dependencies, the vast majority of which are licensed under MIT, Apache-2.0, ISC, or BSD licenses. A complete list of all dependencies and their licenses can be generated from the DISKO source repository using standard tooling (e.g., npx license-checker).
